The Bay Delta Trust is a convening and weaving initiative seeking to improve bioregional coordination in the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta.
We are exploring a new model of governance and collaboration to protect and steward our home, and to improve the quality of life for all, here in the Bay Delta. We invite all those who live and work in this beautiful place to come together to define a 100-year vision we want for our home, and foster regenerative efforts to make it so. The Bay Delta Trust is fiscally sponsored by the Buckminster Fuller Institute, and member of the BFI Design Lab.
Monthly Community Calls
We host monthly community calls to meet others in our bioregion, learn about inspiring local initiatives, and discuss how we can work together to improve bioregional coordination and increase community resilience in our beautiful home.
Join us at noon on the the first Friday of each month to plug in to a beautiful community of dreamers and doers!
Bioregional Asset Mapping Project
Asset mapping is a process used to identify and assess the strengths, resources, and capacities within a community, organization, or ecosystem. It involves systematically cataloging and analyzing tangible and intangible assets, including natural, human, social, economic, and cultural resources. Asset mapping can help communities understand the existing assets available to address challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and promote resilience and sustainability.
We are pursuing a volunteer-driven, crowdsourced approach to asset mapping the Bay Delta bioregion. We aim to grow community, build capacity for change, and have fun learning together about our home.
